About Aarti

“The stage – a mystical place for recreation of a once reality. To communicate, to educate, to entertain, these – I believe – are my paths to share the truths of stories not told, tales hidden by societies and the re-creation of the magic of times gone by. With a passion to share these stories, I write and perform in an attempt to add one more perspective to ancient mysticism of our existence before and on this earth. Truth and perspective are subjective, to be able to share mine on the stage with you, is an added chance to cleaning one more dusty surface of the many chasms of this diamond called existence.”

Having studied western and eastern theatre styles, it is her passion to merge and shift moulds between these two contrasting theatre styles. Having vast performance experience throughout South Africa, as well as in Mauritius and Busan,South Korea. Aarti wishes to share her work in an attempt to expose her unique perspectives.
